A warm welcome to Clarendon Secondary Centre, where we value kindness and inclusion the most.  This is a place of learning for everyone and I am proud of our nurturing, caring and innovative learning environment.  We believe our students are happy when they know they are learning, growing and progressing.

The Secondary Centre is a part of Clarendon School, which provides for students with moderate learning difficulties including those with additional complex needs and autism. Our oversubscribed Centre is designed to provide support for 90 students aged between 11 and 16, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan.

We place learning at the core of all we do. Our dedicated staff members work tirelessly to encourage each student to achieve their personal best, guiding them towards their next steps in learning and self-improvement. They provide an environment where our young learners can grow into more self-reliant and proud individuals, always supported by a team of caring adults who themselves model learning, self-improvement and kindness.

In 2018, we relocated to a purpose-built site that we share with Capella House School, another special school within our Trust, and Richmond upon Thames School, a mainstream school. This co-location fosters an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding, encouraging all these students to experience and value diversity. We are proud of our facilities, which include specialist rooms for Art, Design Technology, Science, Physical Education, Cooking, Drama, Music and a Cycle Workshop.

Our central location in Twickenham is also a great advantage, allowing our students easy access to town centre facilities and improved transport links. This enhances their learning experience, contributing to the development of their social skills and fostering a sense of independence.
