School Council

Each class elects a School Councillor and Vice Councillor to be on the school council.  The school council meet regularly, and allows pupil representation on important issues concerning the school. The School Council gives pupils an opportunity to contribute to the School Development Plan and to debate and formulate changes to the school charter.  School Council members help in senior appointments to the staff and also manage a budget to provide some additional resources for break times.

The School Council recently found out that some classes did not have enough things to do when it was wet play and so they came up with an idea.  They researched activities that pupils would like and made a trip out to purchase everything.  Then in assembly the wet playtime activities were given out to each class. Now every class has something to do when there is a wet playtime!
